Thanks for finding my corner of the internet! I grew up in Maine, studied poetry and education at Colorado College, and now live in Golden, Colorado. I work 9-5 as content manager for the American Alpine Club and write, paint, climb, and guide in my spare time. I’m excited about—

  • Exploring the intersection between education, art, and the environment.

  • Place-based and environmental education: How do we fit into our landscape?

  • Community growth and mentorship.

I made this website to combine a love of practicing stitching & drawing with a desire to work toward a more circular economy and give back to places (via organizations) that matter to me. When you buy something I’ve made from secondhand materials, you’re also donating 50% of the cost to folks who share values of protecting public lands and making these places more accessible to all.

Recently, I’ve been reading:

  • Desert Cabal / Amy Irvine

  • Swell / Liz Clarke

  • The Wanderer / Sharon Creech

  • Red / Terry Tempest Williams

  • Angle of Repose / Wallace Stegner

  • Sing, Unburied, Sing / Jesmyn Ward

  • Becoming / Michelle Obama

You can also check out an interview I did with Backcountry Magazine, read my Ortovox athlete profile, or follow along on Insta.

Email me, tell me what you’re reading, what we could collaborate on, whatever. Thanks for being here. <3
